2017-2018 Donations

Dear friends,
I am pleased to inform you that the Buddhist Essential Support Trust reached new heights in the financial year 2017/2018 with total donations rising close to £40,000. This is more than double of the previous financial year and our best record yet. We have been able to support many more Buddhist institutions with larger amounts. 2017 U Nay Win Sunshine Memorial Fund Winners

In the second year of the U Nay Win Sunshine Memorial Fund, nine institutions helping orphans and underprivileged children were selected to receive support. Their student size and their locations vary but what they all have in common is the inspirational leadership by monks, nuns and staff who work tirelessly to provide the children with quality free education. Congratulations to all the nine laureates of 2017!!!
