The situation in Myanmar continues
to be difficult and we are concerned
for the safety of our team members.
Yet the need for donations is greater
than ever. In continuing to remember BEST Founder U Nay Win’s life and honour his legacy, we selected 9 schools around Yangon for the U Nay Win Sunshine Memorial Fund benefitting over 2500 children. In the spring of 2023, the BEST Myanmar team and U Aung Kyaw Johnson Moe, our BEST Trustee, was able to make further donations, four outside Yangon and 2 in Taungtha. The level of donations is not as much as we would like but we are thankful to have been able do them at all.
