Dear Friends
May I thank you most sincerely for the trust you have placed in me in appointing me as the new President of the Buddhist Essential Support Trust (BEST). I pay tribute to my two predecessors U Nay Win and Daw Khin Win May who have shown exemplary leadership in building BEST. They have done an extraordinary job in fulfilling BEST mission in very difficult circumstances and it will be a hard act to follow. I promise to do my best to build on the important legacy left by my predecessors. In view of the needs in Myanmar, our mission more important than ever. We will remain small but we will be effective. May I also take this opportunity to thank all our donors, volunteers and team members both in UK and Myanmar. Thadu. Thadu. Thadu. (June 2025) |
